About me

To whom it may concern,

When I finished school at the age of 18 I decided to follow my inner voice and leave my hometown. The idea of going abroad and immersing myself in different cultures, and with different people and places always excited me.

The course in Interior and Spatial Design at the University of the Arts London excited me; it focused me. I was, and still am, determined to pursue a career in design.

During my last two years of working in the industry I have been on an on-going journey to understand design, personal services and the luxury market. My natural organizational skills helped me to coordinate between clients and design projects and allowed me to feel confident with both suppliers and clients.

Throughout my time at an architectural office as Assistant Interior Designer I had the chance to assist in drawing out the client's wishes and requirements and in coordinating a project with the help of craftsmen, builders, suppliers and other specialists involved. The on-going communication process, attention to detail and expertise captured my imagination.

While working as an Interior Consultant for Camerich I gained insight in the structure and every day running of a London based Furniture Company. During my time there my primary role was to deal with private clients as well as interior designers on projects through to installation. I reported to the areal manager on a weekly basis to coordinate orders, structure time schedules and reach targets. I learnt to manage sales and deliveries, which lead to assigning and instructing craftsmen and the team on site.

Having worked in diverse positions I have learnt to integrate myself in an existing structure. I enjoy working in a team and always come into work with an infectiously positive attitude. The team morale in the companies I worked for has always greatly benefitted from reliability, professionalism, flexibility, hard work and a great sense of fun.

I believe that working for you would be a great opportunity to take all the energy and excitement that is in me and put it to practice. My strength is my creativity and positive attitude. My patience comes from hours of running every week, which gives me an incredible endurance, even on the longest day.

I take my inspiration from everywhere. I love travelling, getting to know people, different cultures and traditions. I love being in the nature as well as big cities, which affects me equally. To me the most important thing is to always keep my eyes open and keep watching.

I can see myself learning and developing within your team and feel that I have much to offer.

I would be pleased if you gave me the chance to introduce myself in person.

Kind regards,

Anna Sophie Wallmann
