About me
Anna Petry is a 2018 graduate of the Bachelor of Fashion (Design) (Honours) program at RMIT University, school of Fashion and Textiles. As a fashion practitioner, Anna focuses heavily on experimenting with forms, archetypes and fabrications. Her work has a strong tailoring focus, as well as a desire to create a sense of nostalgia and narratives. With a strong attention to detail, enthusiasm and drive, Anna is constantly learning and pushing new ideas forward. As a part of her graduating year, Anna was selected to showcase her collection at Melbourne Fashion Week, Runway Four: Student Collections, as well as independently producing and presenting her work publicly through the collaborative showcase Supermércado. In addition to this, Anna took part in ID Dunedin Fashion Week in New Zealand. She was also a recipient of the 2018 Advanced Fashion and Textiles Studios Collaboration Award, recognising an excellent honours studio project.
