About me
Freelance Senior Designer | Sportswear and Technical Outerwear Specialist with 9 years experience in the industry.
I ideate and deliver across all stages of the creative process; design and development. From pulling together market and design trends, concepts and colour stories to creating technical sketches and building tech packs ready to send to production. I also have a high knowledge of garment construction and can assist with the development of samples to ensure they fit as designed.
Most recently I have been taking on solitary Freelance and consultancy work where I have produced collections for start-up golf brands and creative agencies. Clients include; Local Rule, Lupr, Service Studio, Sunner, & AEI Sustainable Manufacturing. I have also been represented by Equinox Creative, a collective of creatives who love to be outside, where I have worked on projects for World Surf League including a collection for the Tahiti Pro and a collection for the upcoming Olympics.
As Senior Designer across brands such as ES4, Laundry Market and Suburban Sundays I played a key role in designing for and building brands. ES4 being a premium golf and lifestyle brand and Laundry Market which focuses on everyday essentials; really good quality pieces that can be worn again and again. Previously I have delivered designs and collections for larger licences such as Aston Martin F1, FIFA, LIV Golf, The Isle of Man TT, The Solheim Cup, UCI, Williams racing and World worked closely with the companies to deliver their briefs and managed my time across multiple seasons and projects. Designing and developing apparel and accessories across men's, women's and kids.
In my role as Designer at British ski wear brand, Planks Clothing, particularly in heading up the design of the technical women's outerwear range, innovation was at the core of my design philosophy. One of my key successes at Planks was ensuring the outerwear range was built with women's physiology and needs in mind such as introducing new features on the bib pants and adding 3-layer technical shell jacket to the collection.
What I love about my experience working across the sportswear industry is collaborating with other designers, creatives, and athletes to design and visualise their ideas and showcase our shared love of adventure and the outdoors through apparel.
I would really welcome the opportunity to discuss any potential projects. Please get in touch to discuss further.
