About me

Hi there! I am currently completing a degree in History and English at the University of Reading. When I have finished in the next two weeks I am moving to Yorkshire with my fiance to set up home and begin my career. I am keen to get into editing, at any level, to put my writing and research skills into action. I am an outgoing and friendly person with a love for writing and work well both in a team and independently. My three years at university have increased my competence with computers and essay writing as well as helping me become organised and motivated. I have been looking at positions with publishing companies, particularly at graduate training schemes and copywriting and assistant editor positions which I feel will allow me to put my skills to good use and offer me the chance to gain further knowledge and expertise. A job in editing will suit me perfectly and I feel it is something I will be able to throw myself into wholeheartedly.
