About me

I have always had great passion for design. In the course of my secondary school years, I took freehand drawing and fashion design classes, then I started studying landscape architecture at Corvinus University of Budapest. This course incorporates principles in natural sciences, engineering and art which ensure a wide scope of knowledge. Apart from mastering computer design programs, I acquired insight into the fundamentals of design and art history. I wrote my thesis on critical regionalism, a modernist design approach that infuses the essence of the place with sustainability.

I tried to take advantage of every opportunity the university could offer in order to learn and experience more. I was an active member of the landscape architecture academic student society as well as in charge of international relations for the student union.

I started work as a landscape designer in the last semester of my studies. I spent three months in a landscape architecture firm in Budapest, then I chose to leave my comfort zone to obtain work experience abroad. I was volunteering for the landscape architecture branch of Groundwork, a non-profit organization. Here I have understood what it means to support others and the importance of sustainable design. To broaden my horizon and gain further understanding of open space design I joined Wilder Associates. Here I got the opportunity to work on larger scale projects from all over the word like the National History Museum and public spaces in China.

After spending over a year on gaining work experience and discovering my real interests and areas I would like to improve, I started my master's course at Brunel University in Design Strategy and Innovation, where I aim to gain a better understanding of the strategic use of design and what challenges creative industries will face in the future.
