About me

"I knew you'll have a twisted life. You were born a breach baby"
—Mother
Anisha first proved her mum right in eleventh grade, when she studied arts despite scoring 95% in science. Unlike her well-paid engineer siblings, she chose to be a writer(woe is her). With some luck and an unhealthy amount of caffeine, she completed fulfilling stints at Ogilvy, DDB, Dentsu Singapore and Hogarth.
In yet another plot twist, at 31, she surprised herself by enrolling for a master's degree in Creative Writing at LASALLE College of the Arts. There she was awarded a scholarship and the confidence to write literary fiction.
Her essays and short stories have been published in Quarterly Literary Review Singapore, The Hindu, Arre etc. In 2021, her writing was featured in a digital exhibition called (Un)becoming—highlighting the tenacious relationship between mothers and daughters (how's that for poetic justice

To streamline her various writing interests in one place and to offer a full suite of content solutions, she founded Catchphrase.
When not obsessing over her company's logo, she plays board games, dishes out unwanted opinions on her favourite TV shows and beats her cat in staring competitions.

Her strengths: copywriting, scriptwriting, digital marketing, content writing—all generously glazed with strong strategic thinking.

P.s: Hit her up for freelance roles, she promises she would quit talking in second-person narrative voice.
