About me

Angus McLachlan• Through the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University I was awarded a Bachelor of Design, majoring in Visual Communication Design. In 2008, I was awarded as the young ‘Rising Star' graduate in the Australian Creative magazine and also commended by the Design Institute of Australia for innovative designs developed for Myer's Basement branding. Over the past 5 years, I have become highly proficient in the Adobe CS Suite and have a working knowledge of HTML, basic Flash and Adobe After Effects on both Windows and Mac platforms. My tertiary education, freelance and studio experience have been geared towards the ongoing development and learning of new design media, skill sets and creative methods. I have gained valuable knowledge and experience in a variety of media, from vehicle wrapping for Porsche to product packaging and advertising for Maxxis, from signage and printed stationery for Bovis Lend Lease to various corporate branding and identity solutions.
