About me

I am an Graphic Designer with 23 years of work experience and a degree in Graphic Design. My expertise covers both print and digital design and I have worked on a range of projects which include designing books, catalogues, handbooks, magazines, brochures, posters, flyers, annual reports, leaflets, logos, badges, certificates, logos, business cards, but also social media graphics, digital forms, pdfs, infographics and merchandise like stickers, t-shirts, badges and medals. I have experience of designing resources for both adults and children.

I am proficient in the use of the standard design industry packages of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat Pro, on a Mac and have experience of working with copywriters, illustrators, photographers and liasing with printers.

I currently work for Janus Henderson Investors as a Creative Artworker. Previous employment includes working for the charity Mencap who campaign for with people with a learning disability. My role there involved working on many campaigns, learning disability resources, fundraising materials, newsletters, annual reports, working to update the Mencap branding and I was the main designer for all of their retail shop front designs. My previously role was working for Girlguiding UK who are the leading charity for girls and young women in the UK. This involved designing activity packs for children, resources for adults and designing the monthly 'Guiding' magazine. I also worked for one of the most successful media companies in the world - The Bauer Media Group - on two of their monthly 'Take a break' magazines and have also worked for a First Aid company designing their external magazine and stationery.
