About me

With over ten years experience in various design and media roles, I consider myself a good all rounder, who enjoys being creatively involved in any project. I am proficient in InDesign, Quark, Photoshop, ImageReady, Acrobat, Illustrator and have a good knowledge of Flash. I have excellent mac skills, a positive attitude to work and am able to fulfil complicated design requests, both in print and online.

I currently work as a graphic designer with the Guardian News and Media Group and I am looking to take the next step in my career. I am currently working within the advertising department, designing a range of creative material - from innovative advertising pitches to online solutions such as animated banners and microsites. I am also involved in the day to day production of the Guardian and the Observer's classified and display material.

Working in the advertising departments at both GNML and for a leading healthcare company - David Ormerod Hearing Centres (DOHC) - has meant I have in depth experience of advertising design. Whilst at DOHC I managed the advertising schedules for more than 40 company branches, designing all artwork for newspaper, magazine and trade publications.

I hope you will consider me for your position!
