About me
For the past two and a half years I have been working for the design
studio Turnbull Grey. During this time I have worked on a huge
variety of projects including books, websites, exhibition graphics,
brochures and invitations. Turnbull Grey are a small studio and
working alongside just one other person I have gained experience
into the design process as a whole. I have been involved in every
part, from meeting the client, specifying jobs to printers and
choosing papers to the final artworking and checking proofs.
I have a good knowledge of papers and print production processes.
Throughout the two and a half years I have built up strong relationships
with clients and printers. My time at Turnbull Grey has provided me
with a strong grounding in the design and print process as a whole
and has left me with an appetite for more!
As a designer I have a keen interest in typography, I have a love
of letterpress and have had the chance to use it both personally
and commercially whilst at Turnbull Grey. I also have an interest
in papers and finishing techniques, design to me is not just a visual
experience but should take into account the tactility of the object.
I'm also interested in web design and have recently taught myself Flash.
