About me

I have just graduated from the University of Teesside. I have been studying Interior Architecture and Design. Through out this course I have developed many skills that could aid any practice.

Through out the course we have been encourage to make presentations about our work. We were encouraged to use a range of methods to present our work, for example power point, boards, and a range of hand and/ or computer renders. These prsetations developed my communication and presentation skills.

I have comptent knowledge of 3D Studio Max and AutoCAD. I have enjoyed these modules the most especially my final project of the course which was a redevelopment of a 11th century Church. I enjoyed modeling this in 3D Studio Max because the lighting can be changed to give the right effect for the building.

During the course we have under taken group projects which I have enjoyed doing. This has encouraged me to speak out during the meetings to improve the proposed design. Also while working I have had to work as part of a team in all of my jobs for example, working at the Showground we all has to work together to make sure that the customer enjoyed there meal with no worries. This ment relaying messages to the cooks on timing of meals and making sure the customers drinks were made quickly. Unfortunately I have no experience in a design practice but have experience in a range of roles and jobs.
