Copywriter, Proofreader, Photographer, Illustrator

As a graduate of Journalism, with experience writing and editing copy for freelance for print and online and Trinity Mirror South (TMS).

Currently working in the Marketing department of a global advertising company, I have worked in diverse media relations environments. Employed by the Photographic department at TMS I also wrote articles and features for a range of titles covering London and the South in addition to providing photographic content.

Now employed by Unruly Media, I have delivered written copy, photographic and video content published on owned media and social networks. Much of my work in this role serves as a link between the Insight department and the company's global marketing goals, transforming long-term research projects into usable sales collateral and generating earned media.

Delivering this research requires the management of in-house resources, including elements in New York, along with partners in academic establishments around the world. This Insights work involves producing customised research reports for global clients and presenting data to visiting academics or journalists.

As well as managing content for clients, I produce white papers that present Insight findings produced, using owned media and social networks to generate press and business interest. Many of these studies are mass psychological studies into the complex emotions that drive online behaviour, these studies must be summarised for use by the sales team, or presented as articles.

At both TMS and Unruly I have had responsibility for elements of company-wide branding, ensuring its proper use across printed and online collateral, creating identifiable and consistent brand messaging that could be duplicated across formats and international markets.

These roles, and various freelance assignments have required me to write and edit articles for publication in news and trade press, as press releases, on blogs and to cater for the continual demands of online assets. This work has been in newsroom, corporate environments and as a remote working freelancer.
