I have been in the print trade for 24 years and have worked in many departments from print floor to
production office. I have a excellent knowledge of Litho, Screen and Digital processes.
My current position is Pre-Press manager at Barclays Print
As a mac operator my duties included:
- creating artworks from a clients brief
- checking artworks for press and flagging any issues
- planning artworks imposition for transfer to CTP
- calibration checking of proofing equipment
As a digital operator my duties included:
- complex planning of jobs for digital output to a Columbia Inca digital press
- colour adjustments within RIP software to match pre-printed litho sheets
- general finishing duties
