About me
For the past 15 years I have worked in the computer games industry specializing in conceptual design and illustration.
As a concept artist I am adept at creating a wide range of designs for vehicles, environments, characters and props. I have been required to create concept illustrations, one sheets, mood boards and style guides. Locations I have been asked to research and illustrate have varied from Hell to the interior of F1 racing trailers. I have designed end of level bosses to the minions they control. I have worked in diverse genres and have adapted to each quickly, demonstrating a quick grasp of what is needed to be represented.
I am used to working within teams or autonomously. Working closely with Designers and Art Directors I have been active in design meetings, helping determine and putting forward ideas that have been implemented in design and final product. I have worked in several studios the UK and abroad, which has exposed me to a wide variety of working practices and methods. I am both pro active and positive in all that I do and can proudly also say I have never missed a deadline.
I consider myself to have strong visual skills and the ability to adapt comfortably to new challenges and tasks. I am active in learning new skills and methods, continually striving to improve my knowledge and work practices.
