About me

Currently I am Senior Designer with Plenham Ltd, publishers of the market leading B2B publication bodyshop, plus other titles and directories for the auto-refinish industry and commercial vehicle market.

As Senior Designer, I am responsible for the design of all published material and I am involved in every process, from layout through to artwork creation and liaison with the printers. I am also involved in the design and appearance of bodyshop's monthly e-newsletter and web advertising/banners.

My work has mainly been publishing based but, as you can appreciate, this covers many different areas of design disciplines, with the familiarity of working to tight deadlines. Hopefully the range of media and material demonstrated throughout my career, as seen from my CV and portfolio, gives an indication of my versatility and experience.

In my present position, I am also very involved in client liaison, initially discussing briefs, and on through to the signed-off, print ready, PDF artwork. I feel it is important to develop a close rapport and understanding of the individual client's needs and requirements through on-going customer relationships for a satisfactory working partnership.

I have also just been appointed as Designer for a leading consumer lifestyle magazine for the Irish market on a freelance basis with sole design responsibility for all editorial pages and the creation of all printers pdfs

Other recent design work has included: brand identity, logo design and publicity material for: Estate agents, an Alfa Romeo Servicing Group and local start-up business.

I am a talented and imaginative designer who produces consistently creative and attractive work without losing sight of the client's or employer's requirements.

I am hard working, thorough and friendly, with an eye for detail and work well under pressure. I work equally well as part of a team or independently and enjoy new challenges.
