About me

I am a 39 year old experienced Graphic Designer / Mac Operator working within the design, print and reprographic industries. I am creative, skilled, and very down-to-earth with a sense of humour and an eye for detail. I'd describe myself as a Graphic Designer that has a genuine enthusiasm for making information work for people. Working within small design teams I have had very diverse roles working across a wide range of projects from traditional graphic design, packaging, illustration, advertising to email marketing, search engine marketing and web design. Building relationships with clients and working with them to tight deadlines, time estimation and time management and taking projects from brief to completion are all part of my experience in this poisition. Accomplished in Adobe CS software and PDF work flow with experience in management and direct liaison with customers and suppliers. Following a 10 month career break in 2008 to do voluntary work in Nepal and to travel, I am now seeking a new position and challenge within the Design and Print area. I currently hold the position of head of DTP for a Sport Festival company and hold responsibility for the design and image control of the corporate graphics and publications of the Worldwide Corporate Games.
