About me

I have always enjoyed making graphics for other people. I love making things whilst helping them out at the same time with creativity and ingenuity, such as making the logo in Illustrator promoting my friend's company, DancingMan Promotions. I have learnt about branding by volunteering for the Abingdon Green Party by creating regular newsletters and calling cards in line with the official Green Party guidelines. I have just completed Graphic Design Training from BrainNest, which has given me the theory to go with all the practical skills I have used over the last two decades, studying and working.

I am Andy Norton, and I am interested in whatever creatives positions I can find here on Creative Pool. I am a fluent English Graphic Designer seeking an exciting remote opportunity to join a ground-breaking distribution workforce. My career in graphics started working for the agency Creative Protégé in 2009 on complex projects, including designing the York Revisited Suite at The Fort Boutique Hostel in York. Having just graduated from Teesside, this was a professional chance to apply my creative skillset on multiple assignments, including motion graphics and text layout. Working for Creative Protégé meant bringing that professional mindset and multi-tasking experience to future work, including my voluntary commitment to ABCD Film Society.
