About me
I've enjoyed a rich digital advertising experience and undertaken a wide range of agency roles; from creative direction to driving the agency business.
Whilst having been behind many successful marketing strategies and campaigns for hundreds of STEEL's clients, the one thing I've learnt never to lose sight of is the single minded proposition: what are we trying to say and to whom. Route one, always.
Since being appointed to the STEEL board in 1992, I turned my talents to strategic business development, winning and growing such accounts as Debenhams, AOL, TalkTalk, Ladbrokes, Greggs, Lastminute and, most recently, giffgaff, ovo energy, StudioCanal and Warner Bros. and in so doing, building our leading UK eCRM agency reputation.
After acquiring STEEL in 2005 (with my business partners) from founding partner Chris Steel, I've helped to steer the agency from a heavily resourced, production based model, to a leaner, forward looking, intelligence led digital agency, where we firmly focus on fast evolving data driven communication and the adoption of, and integration with, new technology, in what is now, a post digital, audience centric marketing world.
