About me
I got into the industry when Bill Forsyth made 'Gregory's Girl', I had the opportunity to learn cost effective documentary making with the launch of Channel Four, my career crossed mainstream television, corporate and commercials and when technology and the recession collided I was in a position to crystalise my experience and offer effective production solutions to a wide variety of clients.
I've been in this sector for three and a half decades and it's been fascinating watching film give way to tape, analogue move over for digital, tape surrender to SD cards and having to learn all the new jargon, buzzwords, working practices and bullshit that's gone with it.
I've worked as a DoP, director, producer, editor, but nothing has really changed, all that is needed is creative photography and intelligent editing which are brought together to form entertaining and engaging storytelling. And that's it. Tell a story.
