About me

I am a young and talented Graphic Designer and Photographer aspiring
for the upmost success within my career. I have a true creative mind
and attitude and I am hungry for a challenge and to thrive in a new
position.

Designing is a career & passion for life. Expressing through a
media and creating visual ideas, projecting a message to the world
through the use of colour, shape, light, texture and words. There is no
hard line, right or wrong answers to design, but the ability to design
to a brief and create ideas that capture what a client or company has
envisioned and to twist and tweak through personal creativity and to
build that perfect piece that projects the correct message to the
correct audience is a fine line.

The ability to take creative criticism on the chin and to strongly
express ideas and thoughts to others involved without offending them is
a skill that comes with experience. The ability to create multiple
styles of work and to design the correct style for the correct project
whilst still leaving your mark on each piece is my theory to
success.

Design and photography gives me the opportunity to create. To use
vision to express a message. Design is a statement of expression. Done
correctly the result is a very powerful tool in the modern world.
Design is the forefront of any business and creates the Image. The one
that tells the rest of the world who you are. Each and every design
radiates a feeling to others, succeeding involves finding and
expressing that feeling.

I design with a strong ethic of colour, typography, shape,
photography and light. Sometimes alone often together.

I have the ability to design what is asked, and I thrive on excelling
what a client or business has asked from me.

I thrive alone or alongside others and work happily under pressure
to deliver accurate and exceptional design work at all costs. I am a
team player and I am a vibrant character to have around.

With over 6 years experience working within Graphic Design and
Photography I fully understand the concept of taking a brief right from
the initial discussion and brainstorming, through to the delivery of
finished media. Working under pressure to tight deadlines and working
past the twilight hours is part of the job for a modern designer. I am
proficient on the full Adobe CS suite and use Macintosh as my preferred
platform. I have a head down hands on approach and enjoy being thrown
in at the deep end. My areas of design include Advertising, Brochures,
Magazine, Corporate Identity, Packaging, POS and Web Design. I am
seriously seeking a challenge in my next position and will certainly
not disappoint. My ability to learn new skills without fuss and adjust
to new conditions quickly is also a great advantage within a new
position.
