About me

I have been taking photos from a young age (Dad had a dark room in the house). After leaving school I have been fortunate enough to play rugby professionally and have been for the last 7 years. Over the last two years I have taken my photography more seriously and studied digital photography at college. Due to injury I had to stop playing rugby and am keen to start a career in photography. I have recently setup my own portfolio website (*) to show some of my work. I consider my photography skills as reasonable but I am looking to develop my skills further, especially in a professional environment.I am currently shooting with a canon 50d and have a set of Bowen studio lights, which I use, on location with battery pack. I am confident with setting up most lighting conditions in the studio and am happy directing the subject. I have been using Photoshop and adobe lightroom to retouch my images, and am always looking to improve my postproduction skills to keep up with the latest technology.I am polite, courteous and hard working. I am fully prepared to start from the bottom and ambitious to get to the top. I have no pigeonholed view on photography and will take shots of any subject and try to add my own style to them.
