About me

My name is Andrew Zbihlyj and I am a Toronto-based illustrator, currently working from Berlin, Germany. I graduated from Interpretive Illustration at Sheridan College in 2000 and have been working in the field since 2001.

My editorial clients include Harper's, Spin, Vibe, Wired, Esquire, ESPN, The New Republic, Men's Health, Maxim, Rides, GQ Korea, UTNE Reader, Mother Jones, Columbia Journalism Review and Popular Mechanics. My work has appeared in advertising campaigns for Nissan Canada, Pepsi-Cola & Super Bowl XL, Random House UK, ComData, Adidas All Blacks, Geffen Records (album art for Rise Against) and The 2008 JVC Jazz Festival. It has also been consistently honored by Communication Arts, American Illustration, The Society of Publication Designers, The Society of Illustrators, 3x3 Magazine, Applied Arts and The Advertising & Design Club of Canada.

I realize that my work displays more of a distinctly interpretive style than your project may require, so I would like to assure you that I am also comfortable working in a more technically-based manner. I have included a couple of sample images here, but please feel welcome to visit my site at */.

I would greatly welcome the opportunity to discuss your project with you.

Thank you,

Best,
