About me
I am a designer, editor, writer, and all-round magazine enthusiast from Manchester. Now based in and around London, I am looking for a career in magazine journalism that allows me to indulge my creativity whilst producing precise, accurate materials. I have a wealth of experience in student journalism which has equipped me with excellent Adobe Creative Cloud skills and experience in editing and sub-editing. I am also a keen writer, with a particular interest in film, and have won awards for my work. I bring a trained eye and meticulous attention to detail to my design work, which can be found in the October 2018-June 2019 editions of Nouse.
Since graduating I have been working full-time as a bartender, showing my commitment to long hours and demanding work, whilst writing freelance and launching, designing and editing my own website reeltime.blog. On here you will see my love of film but more importantly my love of good journalism and media, and good, clean graphic design.
I am a quick learner with an excellent memory and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Above all, I take my work very seriously and always bring a dedicated, positive attitude to any job role. I am willing to work long shifts, unsociable hours and overtime for the good of the team, as I believe in helping my colleagues and producing the best work possible.
