About me

I am an enthusiastic and highly motivated Product Designer with 10 years of industrial design experience gained in reputable and dynamic organisations. I am seeking a creative and innovative position in a company associated with design excellence, offering the opportunity for career progression and personal development.

I am currently in employment for the Glen Dimplex Group, a privately run global company. The Glen Dimplex Group now encompasses 25 individual companies to which our UK design team service. I am now managing a team for the UK household brand name, Morphy Richards which have a wide consumer appliance portfolio.

Having also worked for a dynamic company like LEGO, I gained extensive training and teamwork experiences, allowing me to work among colleagues from all corners of the world. This has improved my communication skills and made me more open to new ideas and new ways of working. Living in Denmark was an invaluable learning curve both in work and personally.

Freelance design experience gave me greater freedom to build my own contacts and relationship skills as an all round personal manager and I enjoyed sourcing my own work in new fields of packaging and marketing design.

I am now looking for a fresh opportunity in a new design field. I believe I have the ability to adapt my skills to new arenas and relish the opportunity of a challenge.
