About me

My name is Andrew Summers and I have recently finished my education
at Sheffield Hallam University where I studied Graphic and Packaging
Design. I am looking for full-time employment in this particular area
and I believe I have a lot to offer a company like yours.

My course was predominantly based around producing packaging for
products, in particular food packaging. This has given me an excellent
understanding of how packaging has to be adapted for different markets.
I am a confident user of the Adobe software package that was key to
designing many elements of the packaging during my degree course.
Another aspect of the course was business and marketing, which I
enjoyed and helped me with my grasp of the marketing element of
products and business.

During my time as a student I have had a variety of part-time jobs, all
of which have required me to work as part of a team and deal directly
with the public. Working in the retail sector has given me a great
understanding of public relations and meeting various targets within
the business.

I regularly play sport and this has given me the opportunity to develop
a confident personality as well as excellent communication and team
work skills that I have taken with me into all aspects of my past and
current employment.
