About me

I have recently moved into the Bristol area and am currently looking for a role as an Architectural Technologist/Technician, or the opportunity to train as an urban designer. I trained as an Architectural Technologist at South Bank University, gaining a First Class Honours Degree.

My diverse careers as an Architectural Technologist (7 years) and Furniture Designer and Maker (3 years) have given me a wide range of transferable skills; including a good 3D awareness, attention to detail, high level of precision and creative ability. I am a highly motivated, positive and hardworking person, who works well individually as well as collaboratively as part of a team. My highly adaptable nature means that I am a quick learner who is continually striving for new challenges.

Worked on all stages of the design and construction process from inception until completion, Involved in presentational work to win projects, planning drawings, as well as full construction drawings, Working on various elements of the design process including - Site Layouts, House Type Design, Scheduling, and Detailing, Worked on projects using a range of construction methods; from traditional construction, modern timber frame housing, and buildings with both steel and concrete frames and cladding, Projects ranged from large social housing schemes, high-end residential apartments, mixed use projects, to a business park, Worked with a number of large clients including, Wimpey Homes, BP, St Georges PLC and Berkeley Homes, Projects I worked on included - BP Business Park, Imperial Wharf, Leybourne Lakes, and Roundshaw Regeneration
