Hi, I have been in the packaging industry for over 30 years.

Time served Diemaking apprentice with carton sample / designing.

I have for my sins been in QC, Cartonboard sales, Technical design
& sales, carton sales and structural design managers roles.

I don't know it all but have a pretty fair knowledge of folding
cartons / POS / Rigid / materials and the manufacturing processes.

I have run my own businesses for the last 14yrs so not completely
stupid (jury may still be out though).

I have my own CAD software (Impact) and my own plotter and a pen, so
reasonably self sufficient.

Happy for an internal or external role or even a bit of both,
more than happy with clien facing situations to take briefs or new
busiiness selling.

I believe I am pro-active and good at working within teams or on my
own, easy to get a long with. I try and learn things that I am not good
at so even if I don't need it all the time I am better informed. Hence
I can use Illustrator / Photshop from self help and looking over
peoples shoulders. I have produced artwork where needed and changed
fonts / text etc without too much trouble but would most definitely not
class myself as an expert.
