About me

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I wish to provide the following information to support the C.V enclosed for the vacancy of "Research Assistant" at UWIC University. If appointed, I feel I could make a significant contribution to the research assignment, having acquired previous design orientated skills through my University work and voluntary experience for a Wolverhampton based Design Company.

I am a graduate from the University of Liverpool with a 2:1 Honours BSc degree in, Product Design with Multimedia. Throughout this course I have developed my knowledge and understanding of Product Design through the study of a wide range of modules such as Virtual Reality, Visualisation and Simulation; Management; Human Factors and New Venture Creation: Innovation and Entrepreneurship; and Multimedia Concepts and Practices.

The degree that I have acquired has developed my attention to detail, a creative eye and, in particular, my desire and drive towards a career in Design. The modules I undertook helped me develop my hand drawing skills whilst also teaching me how to make effective use of the selected CAD software packages mentioned in my C.V.

I feel that the work experience positions I held have provided me with the confidence and ability to take on new roles and responsibilities and the flexibility to adapt to new situations. I have also developed communication and time management skills and the flexibility to work alongside all levels of staff within business and educational environments.
