About me
I have a wealth of experience in the world of professional graphic design, having worked in the industry since I graduated over 20 years ago with a University Degree in Graphic Information Design.
My mindset has always been more analytical and technical than conceptual, hence I followed the path of creative artworking and production (along with studio management). I feel passionate about good design (and there's nothing better than a nice bit of print!).
I take an immense pride in the skills I have developed as a Creative Artworker, with a particular specialism in print. I've turned my hand to most types of artwork for print, be it a simple booklet, a bespoke piece of direct mail or large format POS. Working for integrated Design and Marketing agencies means that I have experience working on a very wide range of deliverables.
I've also managed creative studios; scheduling, resource planning and management, implementing quality control procedures, digital filing systems and a touch of IT in Mac environments!
In 2017, I bit the bullet and left permanent employment for the first time to try my hand at freelancing. I wanted to experience more studio environments so I could expand my skills. Currently still freelancing (and driving a famous London Black Cab to fill in the gaps!).
I am now ready and eager to take the next step in my career. Looking for a permanent position. I want to use my skills to their maximum, do a fantastic job, make my mark and become a valued member of a team.
