About me
Graduating in 2011 with a Second Class: Upper Division Degree (with hons), I have applied myself to the pursuit of graphic design, covering a vast variety of disciplines.
My last position was as a Web Designer for ViewLondon.co.uk, but due to the company requiring a designer with an advance knowledge of HTML, CSS and JQuery, I was let go. Although I have an understanding of HTML, CSS and JQuery, I do not have much experience with, but I have recently applied for an evening course to learn Web Design fully using the Adobe Dreamweaver program so that I will be able to use these skills fully within any web designing role needed. During my time I was put in charge of updating and distributing the sites weekly newsletters, which involved updating page links, finding images which represented the event or page linked, and make sure the CSS and HTML was working properly for tracking purposes. My other duties included producing bespoke pages for events which the site sold tickets for, including The Download Festival, Relentless Nass Festival, Relentless Boardmasters, South West Four Weekender, Bestival and many more. I also designed pieces of work for T.V Chef Mark Sargeant who had connections with the company, including Brochures and his own personal website (*/).
Before then I worked for TME Solutions, as a web designer. My skills of working with design programs and disciplines, working to a tight time schedule, and producing high quality work within the time I have been given. During my time I produced work for companies such as GasBoiler.co.uk, JF Cargo, NKR Vets, and Samsung.
I have also done some freelance work for Exemplary Energy LTD, producing brand identity as well and logo designs, as well as doing work for Infectious Theatre, producing poster advertisements for some of there productions including work for comedian Gemma Goggin during her Performances during the Edinburgh Festival.
It is my hope to continue being a Designer, no matter which area of design that may be, and to create work to the best of my ability.
