Students studying Graphic Design at Shillington Education, were asked to write down emotive words that could then be translated into a range of abstract marks. These marks would then be used to drive the concept of 'immersing' yourself in design, only through passion, ambition and determination can students break down creative barriers.
A simple mark can help alter conventional design and create more unique outcomes.
A material like Electrical tape (or insulating tape), usually used to insulate electrical wires and other materials, wouldn't be the usual go to choice when creating a vast range of graphic elements for a September 2019 Shillington Education Grad Show.
But, in this case the material itself proved to be flexible, durable and effective when creating the brand assets.
A collaborative experience that connected and engaged with graduates becoming a graphic designer.
