Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to apply for the role of Web Site Administrator/Content Manager, as advertised online.

As you can see from my CV, which is attached, I have worked in the media industry for 18 years.

For 12 of those years I was part of Trinity Mirror's icWales/WalesOnline web site, producing multiple forms of content from news articles to feature videos, and interactive maps to podcasts.

I was also one of the team responsible for managing and sub-editing site content on a daily basis, and I've created and run live articles and blogs covering 2003's Asian tsunami, the 7/7 bombings and numerous live music events.

I am experienced in SEO, social media marketing and for several years was responsible for putting together weekly web traffic reports using SiteAnalyst.

I believe my experience, industry knowledge and track record to date make me a strong candidate for the role of Web Site Administrator/Content Manager.
