About me

In summer 2008 I graduated from the University of Leeds with a 2.1 BA honours degree in Communication Studies. This high grade displays my ability to think independently and intelligently. The course consisted of both analytical, critical and creative modules and I thrived in all areas.

During sixth form I worked at Sigma Press, a small publishing company. I worked everyday after school and learnt a great deal about what goes into the production and promotion of a book. I have also gained work experience at the emap offices where I spent two weeks working for Zoo magazine in London. This was a fantastic opportunity and only reinforced my hunger to work within the media.

I have always wanted to work in the media as I believe my intelligent yet opinionated approach to work, combined with my eye for detail, means I will thrive in the environment of a media-orientated workplace.

I am enthusiastic and friendly and I believe I am an ideal candidate for a media position. I hope to have the chance to meet with you in the near future to further discuss my suitability for the role.
