About me
I have been a photographer for 30 years covering everything from Weddings,
Portraits, Royalty, Property and Events. I have my LBIPP (Licentiateship The British
Institute of Professional Photography) I have worked most of my life in the UK, in
and around Wiltshire covering all the above. I worked from a studio shooting
portraits, lifestyle and products including artwork, bathroom products, clothing
and generic retail products.
The last 10 years have seen me in Cape Town, South Africa where my work has
been in the Event Industry photographing incentive trips around Africa for
International clients, conferences, awards and music. The Incentive tours are my
true passion, documenting high profile companies trips. Storytelling is the most
important part of these assignments as well as making memories for the clients.
Editing as-you-go is a major part of what I do. Each day's images are edited and
uploaded that night so the clients can see the previous days activities over
breakfast. Although most trips have been around Southern Africa, in the last year
or so I have photographed groups visiting Mauritius and this year just before
COVID struck, I was in Iceland with a group. Product photography is also a large
part of my work, I work a lot in the wine industry here and photograph bottles for
media releases and social media use. I have also photographed food both styled and individual pack shots.
I am now looking to relocate back home to the UK and would love to continue my
photography full time. I have a wealth of experience in all aspects of photography. I
work well under pressure, in my own environment as well as when part of a team
and have a good eye for detail and a happy in a studio environment. .
