About me

Personal Statement

I am interested in jobs that are related to 2D and/or 3D art using
digital media. I thrive on a challenge and have the passion and drive
to bring fresh ideas to a company. I have learnt to build on
traditional techniques with modern methods and enjoy designing
realistic pieces of art. I am a hardworker, and quick learner with a
strong eye for detail.

My recent promotion within my current employment has given a lot
more responsibility which has developed my communication and people
skills. Additionally, my job role requires me to lead a team of fifteen
where I delegate tasks and work alongside the whole team to meet
targets. Moreover, I organise daily meetings to discuss any problems or
issues other members of staff may have so they have the opportunity to
communicate concerns.

Experience and suitability

I have studied traditional art media at College which built the
foundation for studying Computer and Video Games design at University,
where I achieved a Bachelor of Science 2.1 degree with honours.

I worked as a freelance artist running a company which created
commercial graphic design for other companies, where I achieved a
personal goal and created an album design for the British Army Brass
Band. I currently work as a section leader for Asda Stores Ltd which
provides new challenges for me daily, to develop my skills in lot's of
different areas.

In the future, I hope to use my skills from my current job to
develop in the area that I have a passion for.
