About me
I have graduated
from a Master in Digital Art at the Norwich University College of the
Art, whilst working full time with people with learning
disabilities.
Master Degrees require the abilty to define, plan and execute
projects. They require motivation indipendent thinking, self assesment,
target setting energy and focus to finish complex and difficult tasks
and that is why althought.
I am a strong believer in art as a
tool to raise self esteem as well as an excellent way to communicate
and express individuality and although I studied for five
years back in Italy within a traditional fine art school I find digital
technology to be an exciting medium for creativity. I have explored
many different ways of presenting my ideas and am always excited to use
new tools and am keen to keep abreast of developments within the
industry.
I have good experience of working with
disadvantaged clients but also a passion for art and all creative
aspects of life. I have taught courses at the Art School, at Wensum
Lodge college and the Norwich Art Centre and found this experience
rewarding as I love working with people and enjoy sharing my knowledge
with others.
Previously to the Master my role
was multimedia designer, developing training courses for a company
called Resource Initiatives. This position required me to manage a
project from start to finish. I had to meet the clients listen to their
ideas interpret them and deploy them in the required format. My work
had to be creative, interesting and accessible to all within the field
the training was required. I had to make interesting and entertaining
courses which could potentially be extremely dull.
In 2008 I
received a bursary from the NSAD now NUCA which entitled me to
participate to the SWIM
in the Digital World seminar, an 18-day course organised by the
SWIM Consortium made up by Sciencescom, Audencia, School of Management
(FR), the Norwich University College of the Arts (UK), the Babes-Bolyai
University (RO) and the Berlin University of the Arts (GER). The
objective of the seminar is to provide participants with extensive
knowledge of the opportunities existing in the film and audiovisual
industry thanks to the digital technology applied to this
sector.
My work has been exhibited in various occasions
including; 09/01//02/09 Mobile Phone
Art- Norwich Art Centre, 11/11//11/08 SIENOS(Borders)-Norwich, England
(Fishergate-Stew), 28/4/07 -

in the Siauliai University Gallery over the period of the visit. In
addition to this a live video performance took place in the same

Norwich School of Art & Design's Project Space and Student Gallery.
In Addition to this, a live video performance took place in the
School's student union.
On a more personal level, I practice the Brazilian sport of Capoeira
and enjoy a bit of Swing Dancing as well as Swimming and Cycling. I am
also passionate about art, cooking and every form of
creativity.
