About me

My name is Andre Toscano, I am an experienced graphic designer and have been working in the design industry for over 6 years. My journey as graphic designer has taken me into roles I could have never imagined possible. This journey has helped shape not only my career, but also my ability to think differently, to develop ideas, to conceptualize and most importantly this journey has given me a more rounded and adaptable personality. I am extremely passionate about design, web and film, I spend most of free time engaged in these activities, developing my skills and feeding the passion I have for these creative activities.

I am multidisciplinary designer living and working in London. I graduated with a Bachelor of Social Communication Design from Anhembi Morumbi University, São Paulo. I have been working for Fresh SX as a graphic designer for the last 3 years. I have also worked on numerous freelance projects for big and small clients. I have also worked on several projects involving film directing and editing and in 2010 I won an award for best European Director at the Hustlaball Award in Berlin. I am very passionate about film and love exploring different genres including documentary, sci-fi and adult industry.

In my role as graphic designer / film director of FreshSX.com, I was responsible for everything related with the conceptual design process and developing of marketing collateral. I am involved in the entire process of video production, directing the films, editing, opening sequence and interactive menus, as well as disc and cover artwork. I also prepare online promotional material such as web banners, social media updates, front end web design and html email template design. I was responsible for the production of print based artwork such as posters, flyers and magazine ads. I have directed 16 movies, 2 of those still unreleased under the same studio.

During my time at FreshSX I helped to create a modern and consistent brand, with a strong focus on driving the brand forward. The experience I gained at FreshSX has helped to shape my career and provide me with valuable skills that set me apart from other candidates. I have accomplished a lot in this role, but now is the time to look forward to new opportunities and challenges. I am writing to you to propose my skills and abilities.
