About me

Hello! My name is Anastasia Gurova, I'm a Russian naturalized Italian art lover, and not only; I'm highly passionate about movies, especially the animated ones. I saw all the studio Ghibli products countless times and one thing that definitely has to happen in my life is meeting Hayao Miyazaki.

I am also a comic book collector when I was a kid I was literally going crazy about manga and let's not talk about the Marvel universe!

An important part of my life is also my love for animals; I really enjoy taking care of them, through all my life I always had an animal friend keeping me company.

I am drawing since the day I remember, my mom had to buy tons of sheets when I was 5 (sorry trees).

So my life was signed by the love of art, from high school to university, and later the master degree, I've always been studying art. After finishing high school I moved to Milan to study at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera and later I decided to move to Rome to continue my studies at Rainbow Academy, where I learned the processes involved in realizing a 3D animated short movie.

My philosophy in life is never to stop learning, so after Rainbow Academy, that was mostly focused on teaching the production and post-production techniques, I continued my studies at Genius Academy, that was focused on the pre-production world, and there I found my spot.

Concept art, illustration and animation are the three things that are making my eyes shine, other than my love for animals.
