About me

With over eight years of experience in audiovisual production and cultural storytelling, I have built a career that bridges music, community, and visual narratives. I am the co-founder of Kamiquaze, an independent production company behind award-winning projects that amplify urban and peripheral cultures in Brazil.

Career highlights include:

Research & Creative Direction: Lead researcher and Director of Photography for KL Jay - O Risco da Rua, a feature documentary about DJ KL Jay of Racionais MC's — Brazil's most influential rap group. Awarded funding through Santa Catarina's state cinema grant (Lei Paulo Gustavo), I conducted extensive research, mapping and analyzing over 160 audiovisual, textual, and sound materials to contextualize hip hop's cultural legacy.

Broadcast Editing: Video editor for TV Globo, Brazil's largest television network, which reaches tens of millions daily. I edited content for Jornal Nacional and Bom Dia Brasil, the country's highest-rated news programs.

Cultural & Music Production: Assistant producer and interviewer of renowned musical personalities, developing multimedia content for radio, blogs, and cultural projects that connect audiences with the essence of music and identity.

Awards & Recognition: Recipient of prestigious cultural grants, including the Elisabete Anderle Award for Cultural Stimulus and the Aldir Blanc Cultural Trajectory Award, which recognize leading artistic and cultural projects at the state level.

From documentary research to on-set directing, from editing prime-time television to producing community-driven music projects, my work is versatile yet grounded in one principle: to democratize access to the arts and create bridges between local cultures and global audiences.
