Degree in Environmental Science,professional photographer.

The last few years I have been working as a Picture Researcher in the photography department at MRMWW

(Leading global digital and direct agency): working for corporative magazines such as Pulso by MOVISTAR SPAIN. In this role I have acquired experience in managing a photographic library (searching, archiving and IPTC metadating pictures for the company); ensuring pictures research complies with the corporate image policies from the companies we worked for; working with photographers and managing photographic assignments, such as ACCIONA ANNUAL SUSTAINABILITY STATMENT 2007 with Cristina García Rodero (photographer from Magnum Photos Agency.)

At the same time I've been developing my personal work as a photographer during the last 7 years, so I have acquired experience in digital content management working with software including Adobe Bridge, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign, Adobe Illustrator; web design with iWeb and Dreamweaver; and video editing using iVideo and Avid free among others.

Thanks to my good eye for photography my work has been published in international magazines: Esquire

Mexico, Harper's Bazaar Spain, Ryanair Inflight Magazine and many more. I have won some national photography

competitions like Calzarte, I had a collective exhibition at EFTI school during the PHOTOESPAÑA 2008 contest and I am promoting my personal work through different exhibitions in Madrid and through my own online shop at Etsy. My personal work is thankfully starting to be bought by different exclusive private collectors.

I could be considered a competent photographer able to commission and deliver photography projects such as: different portraits of well-known personalities (International Chefs such as Ferrán Adrià or Heston Blumenthal); still photography for an international Cuban film; documenting SpanishRevolution; and other commissioned works published. *

My passion of the editorial field inspired me to create DEPIEFOTO project (*), started in October 2009. Being co-founder and working as an art director, graphic designer, picture editor, content and community manager for this project I am developing a thorough and analytical approach to planning and managing projects, as well as experience of communication in social media and a high level of organization skills. Depiefoto includes a web blog and a fanzine where images and words play together to offer us little tales. This project is receiving a warm welcome in photography and literature circles: At the moment we have 1028 followers on our facebook page; 904 on our twitter account (@depiefoto) and a peak of 2.471 visits in February 2011 when the Fanzine was launched. Throughout last year I built on my experience during the "Assistant of documentation department in the media" course, where I learnt about media databases, archiving, classifying and metadating news, video, and photography files; video editing and web designing in order to refresh and consolidate my previously acquired skills and achieved new knowledge in the digital content management

field.

Thanks to my own photography project management and other previous work experience such as a sales assistant, call centre agent, and a travel agent, among others, I have a good level of administrative and IT skills. Although I am used to working a Macintosh operating system, I can also manage Windows systems. I am experienced user in the Office package, Internet browsers, email software, social networks, blogwebs management, and many more. I am a sensitive, hard-working and resourceful person an I have a keen eye for detail. I am able to work as a team member and under pressure. I am passionate about the digital revolution we are living nowadays, so I am always picking up new software skills I find useful for my professional development. As I have lived in foreign countries before such as UK, Italy and Portugal I am used to adapting myself to the new lifestyles and foreign cultures. I would be delighted and honoured to move to London to have the opportunity to work on your company. Due to my passion for Photography & Arts, my deep knowledge of digital photography and my previous experience in a photography department , I think I could be considered a good candidate for vacancies offered in your company at the media or photo department.
