Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Ana Nascimento and I'm a creative/graphic designer who has recently moved to the UK where cultural and artistic themes are a continuous and exciting part of the country. I'm looking forward to kick-start my career in a creative and respectful place where I can learn and grow within my area of studies.

I consider myself to be dynamic and hardworking and I believe I have good organisational and technical skills with a problem-solving attitude. I have the ability to adapt well to new situations and to work as an effective team member or independently to achieve objectives. I am also highly motivated and keen to further develop my career. I've also got an entreperneurial spirit and like to embrace concepts where tradition and contemporary meet as you can see on the Masters Degree Thesis that has become a real-life project. The project includes photography and graphic design in both modern day and heritage spirit.

My background as a designer also includes freelance work for themed events (birthday, religious or dinner parties) and independent companies. I did some volunteering work at the Banco Alimentar (portuguese Food Bank) and worked in an Event Planning Company, helping the bar and serving and welcoming guests.

I have good English language skills both written and spoken. I also speak Portuguese and Spanish and can understand French, which could be in any company's best interest.

Furthermore I believe that I can contribute in a very positive way to your team due to the knowledge I acquired as a Graphic Design student throughout the past years and also because I've always believed in the strengths and the influence of graphic design throughout the years and want to leave to some extent my mark in its history.
