About me

As a qualified Graphic Designer, I have 4 years practical experience
working in a variety of publishing companies, including Haymarket Media
Group. I am fervently eager to upgrade my career level within the
editorial-design practice, willing to enhance my skills and take on
challenges.
I am passionate about my work and to enhance my skills I recently
took an MA in Graphic Design at the London College of Communication,
achieving a distinction. During the course I explored the intersections
between print and digital translating this into innovative book design.
As a result of my research and experimentation I produced the book
Reading in the Digital Age.
My experience in editorial design is wide-ranging, having worked
across a variety of industry sectors for high-profile clients. These
include: The British Olympic Association, The British Army, Michelin,
and The North West Development Agency. I take a proactive approach to
projects and have successfully self-initiated publications from early
on in my career including Locker magazine.
My knowledge and experience gained within the publishing industry,
together with strong design skills and extensive production experience
allows me to strike the right balance between creativity and
efficiency.
My CV and Portfolio provide more details on my achievements.
I would love to hear your thoughts - please don't hesitate to
contact me if you would like to review my portfolio.
