About me

In January 2015 I had never ran more than 5km; I then ran a half marathon in March 2015. I am a determined individual.

I have been exposed to a variety of different types of design and process stages throughout my work experience and education, this has given me a broad interest and knowledge in a wide range specialisms. I am a keen researcher of upcoming technologies and smart materials, with specific interest in their abilities to improve user experience. My final year project Inertia focused on reducing the risk injuries in recreational running by using a range of smart materials embedded into clothing. The project awarded the James Dyson Foundation Scholarship.

I am a passionate about user centred design and helping others, which subsequently leads me to partake in a variety of charitable events.

I am an outgoing opportunist. When not working, I am most likely to be found on top of a mountain taking photographs of landscapes, running on a trail in a national park, or swimming.
