About me
I'm Amy Thomas, Assistant Graphic Designer at Demelza Hospice Care for Children. I have over ten years design and marketing experience within the advertising and charity sectors. I have always been creative and I enjoy designing and bringing documents to life, catching peoples' attention with informative posters and creating insightful and beautifully designed brochures that convey the right TOV and messaging intended. I feel privileged that the work I do at Demelza, plays a part in helping the lives of all the children and families that they care for.
I have an excellent eye for design, know my RGB from my CMYK and dabble in animation, HTML coding and paid display ads. My role requires me to conceptualise and produce creative material for all areas of the charity from care, fundraising, lottery and retail. This includes internal communications, newsletters, brochures, flyers, leaflets, POS and creating brand assets for social content.
I love to chat and I work well within a team. I build relationships with collegues and suppliers and am a great multitasker. I consider myself to be very proactive, fast thinking and am able to prioritise tasks and work to multiple deadlines.
