About me

I graduated with a 2.1 in Advertising which focused on developing campaigns for both print and moving image. Since graduation I have worked with Blue Chip clients such as Wrigley's and Ginsters. I am highly self motivated and a dedicated team worker accomplished in a wide range of skills.

I am currently working as a senior designer in Plymouth, am responsible for creating a range of marketing and printed media for a range of clients, from Plymouth City Council to local Estate Agents. I am also responsible for smooth running of the studio, which included overseeing jobs through the company, organising and briefing other members of the team and keeping an eye on budgets and milestones that need to be met in order to deliver a deadline.

Skills

Excellent knowledge in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office., Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS

Sector Experience

In the past 8 years of working in an office environment I have managed my own time effectively, and developed outstanding written and verbal communication skills. I am very competent on both Mac and PCs. I am used to working under pressure and to a deadline from my years in 3 design studios, and being the art-worker in the studio means that I have an excellent eye for detail. I am competent at taking a brief from a client, producing visuals and seeing the product straight through to print.My strongest area of design would be working with layouts in InDesign. I worked on a fashion and lifestyle magazine 247 which was aimed at students, aged 18 to 26. From my time at 247 magazine I often accompanied the editor and photographer on fashion shoots.
