About me

I am currently studying a BA (Hons) in interior design at De Montfort University and will be graduating in July 2007. I am interested in pursuing a career in interior design once finished and I hope to take particular interest in retail, commercial and exhibition design.

I have a passion for creating exciting and functional spaces and take great pride in the work I present. I take a keen interest in modern architecture and regularly take trips to London to explore new areas. I enjoy photography and incorporate this into personal research.

I am currently expanding my knowledge of VectorWorks and have been using this software for nearly three years, I have been able to create progressive and radical designs using this programme. I have experience and am competent with Photoshop and I intend to gain knowledge of 3DS Max this year with further tuition.

I am able to think three dimensionally and translate my thoughts using free hand perspective drawings.

Through previous work experience I have become more confident in communicating with difficult and demanding situations and have proved I am trustworthy and can work both as a member of a team and have leadership responsibilities.

I ensure enough time is taken with any task I undertake in order to complete fully and to a high standard.
