About me

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, my name
is Amy Shallon and I'm a highly creative and conceptual designer with
12 years of professional experience, working in the London area. I have
a wide experience in all areas of design and advertising from
professional corporate literature through to direct mail, press ads,
packaging, magazine, exhibition design and marketing. My creativity is
backed up with an extensive knowledge and fluency in Indesign,
Illustrator, Photoshop and Quark as well as a strong understanding of
all print and production techniques. I can offer any prospective
employer boundless enthusiasm, loyalty and pride in my work with a very
personable and down to earth nature. I have a great sense of humour and
love a creative challenge. My portfolio exhibits my main philosophy
that creative flair and strong solutions are the cornerstone of our
industry, but at the same time a hardened insight into the basics of
business makes me well aware that making the most of resources is
paramount. I have an in depth experience of liaising directly with
clients and presenting artwork and I am able to confidently return
sound reasoning behind creative solutions to persuade clients where
necessary. I truly feel that at this stage in my career I am able to
manage any issues that a senior member of a creative department would
encounter with competence, speed and efficiency and therefore feel I
would be more than suitable for a senior creative position that is
