Kia-ora

My name is Amy Preston and I am a 24 year old designer originally from New Zealand. I arrived in the UK in March this year with a working visa, and had been employed as the sole Graphic Designer for a busy design and printing agency in London, before leaving to travel through Europe over the past two months.

Since returning to the UK I have relocated to Edinburgh so currently looking for employment in this exciting city.

So a bit more about me... I have a degree in Design Studies and Marketing Management from Otago University, New Zealand and over 3 years industry experience. Before leaving NZ I worked as a designer for the alcohol company Independent Liquor and previously for an Advertising & Design agency. In my 3 years experience I have worked on a huge range of projects; print design including annual reports, brochures, posters, stationary etc, packaging design, corporate identity, branding development, advertising, point of sale design and new product development. I have a strong understanding of the print process, a keen interest in photography and painting and a desire to learn more about web design.

Having worked closely with customers, brand managers and creative team members in the past and the ability to work well under pressure I believe I have a lot of talent to offer. I have a friendly and positive attitude to my work, as well as the people within it, and strive to complete all tasks to the best of my ability.
