About me

I thrive in a creative, collaborative work environment and in my previous roles I have been commended for my efficient and inspired approach to content creation. With a BA Hons in English I have outstanding skills in copywriting, literacy and creative writing. As a clear passion of mine I regularly exercise these skills while creating content for my own channels and blog in my spare time.

With an undergraduate degree in English that is complemented by a strong digital awareness taken from my master's in Media: Digital Culture and Communications, the two disciplines combine to make me a well-rounded, modern writer, prepared for today's online competitive consumer culture.

My experience creating content for various businesses in sectors such as agriculture, catering and leisure mean I understand the importance of maintaining brand tone. This variety has allowed me to become proficient in writing from a brief and confidently able to research further to gain more insight into any brand's voice.

After 6 years in fashion retail, I am confident in product knowledge and have a strong awareness of retail processes therefore making me a commercially aware writer. As a fashion enthusiast I am keen to know about the latest trends and therefore have a wide breadth of influencer knowledge, particularly surrounding beauty, lifestyle and fashion.

My positions in retail both as Supervisor at LK Bennett and Administrator with OUTFIT, mean I am experienced in both tracking and meeting company targets and KPI's. I am meticulously organised and ensure to always plan efficiently and successfully manage my time for optimum results in my work.
