About me

I studied at the University of Central Lancashire, gaining a second class honours degree in Web and Multimedia Design. Since leaving University I have been developing my skills further as a Web Designer working for Ufindus, which is based in Lancaster. Although I enjoy my present role, I feel restricted and wish to expand the range of creative areas linked to web design. I am seeking a position in a company which allows for personal and career development, which in turn benefits the overall development of the team.

My role is to produce bespoke Web solutions for a wide range of customers. The sites that I produce can range from builders and plumbers through to mortgage advice and holiday sites. Within this role I communicate with the customer continuously from the design stage right through to the completion and uploading of the site.

During my time at Ufindus, I have gained experience of working in a rapidly growing design environment, working both independently and as a part of a team. The majority of my time is spent working independently maintaining my professionalism with customers. I am required to complete assignments for customers within an agreed timescale. The number of sites completed per week is linked to a bonus scheme which increases my basic annual salary from £13,000 to £19,000.
